Mission Statement
The Society has been organized for the purpose of collecting and preserving books, papers, records, writings, relics, etc., relating particularly to the History of the communities of Athey,Boaz, Boreman, Briscoe Run, Odgin, Talley Ho, Valley Mills, Walker, Waverly, Williamstown, and partly to that of West Virginia. The Society’s mission is to identify, present, preserve, and promote the history of the Williamstown Area.

The Williamstown Area Historical Society welcomes inquiries about potential donations. Please contact us first before shipping any material. We will then work with you to determine the most appropriate disposition of the material and to conclude a donation agreement.
